The Data Recovery Stick is a great forensic and recovery tool for employers and concerned parents.

Simply plug the device into your hard drive and perform a recovery of deleted data from any number of devices including camera's, USB sticks, SD cards, and the hard drive itself. The Data Recovery Stick will recover files which have been deleted from your recycle bin. Even if someone deletes a file and empties their recycle bin, the data is still recoverable (unless later overwritten by new data).

The Data Recovery Stick can recover deleted files from most devices which have a mass storage option. Once plugged into your PC, the Data Recovery Stick will scan and search for mass storage options and if, for example, you had your camera/sd card/USB flash drive inserted, the Data Recovery Stick will give you the option of which mass storage device you would like to examine. If no other mass storage devices are plugged in, it will automatically scan your hard drive and recover the deleted files from its deleted memory folders.

*Please Note: The storage device you are recovering data from must be a physical drive. Some cameras, such as iPhone cameras, only give logical drive access and images cannot be recovered from such devices. You must also have the proper media reader for some types of storage.

* Please Note: Solid state hard drives (SSD) often overwrite deleted data upon deletion making data recovery impossible.

It is important to have realistic expectations: The device will probably recover thousands of files - many of them will have been partially written over and corrupted. Many of these will not be readable. BUT - many of them will be fully recovered, particularly the more recently deleted files.
