If your KEYKatcher did not respond to the password, please check for the following:

Try unplugging your KEYKatcher from the back of the computer and plug it back in to the keyboard port. After you do this try entering your password again.

Are you using a laptop computer?
KEYKatcher products do not generally work with laptop computers. Please use a desktop computer for accessing your KEYKatcher.

Are you using a KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse) switch? Try plugging the KEYKatcher directly into the desired computer, or remove the KVM switch entirely. This should fix the problem.

Visually inspect your KEYKatcher and keyboard cable for bent pins. A bent pin can cause poor electrical connections between your keyboard and computer.

Are you using a non-English keyboard? Your default password may not be "keykatch". Please see our FAQ page to find the default password which will work for your keyboard.

If you have forgotten your password, the only remedy is to send your device in for password reset. Please use our warranty form in the event that your password has been forgotten.
